Welcome to the Northeast Tennessee Workforce Investment Board website. Our volunteer members live and work in Carter, Johnson, Unicoi, Sullivan and Washington counties.

The Northeast Tennessee Workforce Investment Board serves as a catalyst in bringing together major workforce development stakeholders and provides strategic planning and oversight of the local service delivery system.

NETWIB Mission: To enhance economic development in Northeast Tennessee by providing guidance and resources to meet employment needs.

NETWIB Vision: A workforce development system which meets employer needs, enhances skills and supports wage progression and is responsive to changing Labor Market demands.

The Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development recently released funding through the State Incumbent Worker Training Program. A local review is required by the Northeast Tennessee Workforce Investment Board through the Alliance for Business & Training. Funding may be limited, For more information click here
